Description

Description "JUMO flowTRANS US W01 Ultrasonic flowmeter DN 32 (1 1/4 in.)"

Ultrasonic flow meter from JUMO for low-maintenance and precise measurement of liquids in piping systems

JUMO flowTRANS US W01 Ultrasonic Flow Meter DN 32 (1 1/4")

This ultrasonic flow meter enables precise and continuous measurement of liquid flows in pipelines without being affected by typical influencing factors such as pressure, temperature, or conductivity. This makes the system particularly suitable for applications where stable measurement values are required even under changing operating conditions.

The measurement is based on the proven transit-time difference principle. Ultrasonic pulses are transmitted through the medium between two sensors. The flow velocity is calculated from the difference in signal transit times in the direction of flow and against the direction of flow, and the flow rate is then determined from this value. This method allows reliable measurement under both constant and varying flow conditions.

As the flow meter operates without moving parts, there is no mechanical wear. This significantly reduces maintenance requirements and the risk of failure compared to conventional flow meters. Accurate measurement requires a largely homogeneous medium with only low levels of solids or gas content.

Advantages of the JUMO flowTRANS Ultrasonic Flow Meter

  • Measurement independent of pressure, temperature, viscosity, and conductivity
  • No moving parts, resulting in low maintenance requirements
  • Proven transit-time difference method for stable measurement results
  • Suitable for long-term and continuous monitoring
